Don Swaim Interviews

Audio Interview with Andre Schiffrin
about the New Press

Andre Schiffrin, author of The Business of Books and founder of the New Press, talks with Don Swaim about the state of commercial book publications, the deterioration of providing an outlet for the authors, and the move towards big business. Schiffrin explains what the New Press is and what it stands for. Much like PBS, the New Press is a non-profit publishing house trying to make the authors voices heard.
