Audio Interview with Barry Unsworth

In this 1983 interview, Barry Unsworth describes his novel, Rage of the Vulture and what it was like working and teaching in Istanbul. He also explains how he went about researching the novel and talks about the Turks’ culture, history and years of turmoil that they have had to endure. Barry Unsworth is also the author of Pascali’s Island, Stone Virgin and Sugar and Rum.
