Bruce Jay Friedman stops into the studio in 1985 to talk with Don about his struggle to become a journalist, and why he eventually became a novelist. They also discuss his novels, The Lonely Guy and The Slightly Older Guy and Tokyo Waves. Friedman has also written screenplays for the movies Splash, Stir Crazy and Doctor Detroit.
