In this 1990 interview with Don Swaim, Budd Schulberg talks about his novel, What Makes Sammy Run? He also talks about growing up in Hollywood while his father ran a Hollywood studio and his struggle with getting his books published. Schulberg won an Academy Award for his screenplay, On the Waterfront.
