Audio Interview with Dan Greenburg

Dan Greenburg and Suzanne O’Malley, co-authors of How to Avoid Love and Marriage, talk with Don during this 1983 interview about the book. They describe it as a humor book about marriage and relationships, and they discuss parts of it, including “Five Rules to Govern Marital Fights.” They also explain what it is like having two writers in one house, and thier original ideas for the book.

During his second visit with Don, Dan Greenburg discusses the book he is working on at the time about an evil nanny. He describes many of his experiences having his first child, Zack and how this led to his book, Confessions of a Pregnant Father. He also tells us why he decided to have a child at such a late age, and his participation in the whole pregnancy.

Dan Greenburg discusses his idea for his horror book, The Nanny. He based the book on some of his experiences with having a baby and hiring a nanny, though he wanted the nanny in his book to be evil, domineering, seductive as well as supernatural.
