Dan Wakefield discusses his book New York in the 50's in this 1992 interview with Don Swaim. Dan outlines his experience in 1939 at the worlds fair in New York. In addition, he also reminisces about his experience in New York in the 50's after graduating from Columbia University, where he worked on the Columbia spectator.
