Don Swaim Interviews

Audio Interview with Graham Swift

Graham Swift, author of The Light of Day, Waterland and Ever After, journeys from London to visit New York for the first time. He considers himself fortunate that he is a full-time writer and does not need a second job. Once a teacher, his book sales rose enough so he no longer needed a second job. Swift discusses another job he once had working in an mental hospital. Don Swaim and Graham Swift also discuss what, if any, viable alternatives there are to mental hospitals.
