Howard Fast began writing novels when he was fifteen while attending school. In this interview with Don Swaim, Howard discusses his first novel published in 1933, Two Valleys as well as Strange Yesterday and Conceived in Liberty. He also discusses his involvement in the Communist party, and the stereotypes many people have in regards to Communism.
