Looking for the "Great American Novel" is the job of Jane Chelius, who is a book editor. She comes to speak with Don Swaim in this 1992 interview about her career in the publishing industry. She talks about evaluating manuscripts, editing books, and the hunt for a good crime novel. She explains the term, cozy, which is a type of mystery novel that takes place in England at a time that probably never really existed.
