Audio Interview with Jim Carroll

Jim Carroll, writer, poet and musician, talks with Don during this 1986 interview about his latest collection of poems, The Book of Nods, and the differences between it and his first book of poems, Living at the Movies. He also discusses his decision to become a poet, why he started using drugs and how he became a musician. Carroll is also the author of The Basketball Diaries, which was made into a major motion picture.
