Joanne Leedom-Ackerman, the Vice President of International P.E.N., talks with Don during this 1986 interview about her latest publication, No Marble Angels, and why she decided to put together a collection of short stories. She also discusses the Texas Center for Writers Press, why journalists have to be heartless, and some of her favorite authors. Leedom-Ackerman has also written The Dark Path to the River and has published fiction, poetry, and essays in anthologies and literary magazines.
