Don Swaim Interviews

Audio Interview with Peter Feibleman

Peter Feibleman, co-author of Eating Together: Recipes and Recollections, talks with Don Swaim in this 1984 interview about Feibleman's time with Lillian Hellman, and the creation of this book. He had known her for 43 years; the two would often proofread each others work and give constructive criticism to one another. The book came from the fact that the two had always wanted to open a small restaurant but unfortunately, that would never happen. This book, part cookbook and part memoirs, was based around the dishes that the two would prepare for one another for evening dinner.
