Audio Interview with Rod McKuen

Rod McKuen, author, poet, and musician who has accumulated over forty book titles to his name. Author of lyrics, poetry and prose, Rod McKuen talks with Don Swaim in this 1986 interview about McKuen's love of music (which he cannot go a day without), the personal journey behind Finding My Father, his constant need for revision in his work, and how he likes to make his poetry accessible to the readers, rather than clouding his messages with obscure metaphors and confusing biographical reflections.
