Don Swaim Interviews

Audio Interview with Russell Baker

Russell Baker, author of Russell Baker's Book of American Humor, Looking Back, Growing Up, and several others, speaks with Don Swaim during this interview about the constantly changing opinions of books. Baker talks about the maturity level of the reader, and gives examples about books that he had once hated, but changed his opinion about the book later in life. He criticizes the school system for the way it teaches literature and tries to model his books in a different form to escape the chronological form.
