Don Swaim Interviews

Audio Interviews with Russell Banks

Russell Banks, author of Book of Jamaica, Gegenstromung and The Angel on the Roof, stops to talk with Don Swaim while on a book tour. One of the things Banks stresses in writing is character development, and tries to write every day. Banks relates a story about his grandfather's barn, and talks of how he used that story in one of his books.
