Alec Guinness, British stage and screen actor, talks with Don Swaim during this 1986 interview about Guinness's autobiography, Blessings in Disguise. Guinness also discusses his lifelong search for his father, his naval career, his friendship with Ernest Hemingway and some of the writers that influenced him. Guinness has starred in movies such as Great Expectations and Oliver Twist.
