Wright, Vietnam veteran and author, talks with Don Swaim about the
Vietnam War and Wright's novel, Meditations in Green.
Wright grew up in Cleveland, Ohio and attended Ohio State University
until
he was drafted into the Army in 1969. Wright became an intelligence specialist
and spent a year in Vietnam. He talks about the draft, the drug culture
in Vietnam, the brutality of the war, and the extreme complexity of
the conflict.
