Don Swaim Interviews

Audio Interview with T. Gertler

T. Gertler talks with Don Swaim in this 1984 interview about her hunger for knowledge, and her experiences moving back to New York City after having grown up in Miami Beach. Gertler wanted to be a “writer” and not just a “woman writer,” as so many women are categorized. She also discusses the concept of her novel, Elbowing the Seducer.
