Audio Interview with Tom Wicker

Tom Wicker talks with Don Swaim in this 1984 interview about Wicker's novel, Unto This Hour, a story about the Second Battle of Manassas during the Civil War. He explains why he became interested in the Civil War and what particular event inspired him to write this book. Wicker also tells us how he went about researching the story, the importance of the Second Battle of Manassas and he speculates what would have happened if the South had won the war. Tom Wicker is also the author of Donovan’s Wife and Easter Lilly.
