Audio Interview with Ved Mehta

The essayist and autobiographer, Ved Mehta, talks with Don during this 1986 interview about the troubles he encountered while getting an education as a blind child, his experiences going to school in Arkansas after being raised in India and how his first book, Face to Face, came about. He also discusses his latest book, Sound Shadows of the New World and why Edward R. Murrow had such an impact on his life. Mehta has also written Fly and the Fly Bottle, Mamaji and The Stolen Light.
