Audio Interview with William Boyd

William Boyd, a native of Ghana, discusses with Don Swaim the humor in Boyd's novel, Stars and Bars, and compares himself to the main character. They also discuss the difficulties of being a writer today, and the differences between British and American cultures. Boyd is also the author of Brazzaville Beach, The Blue Afternoon and A Good Man in Africa, which won the Whitbread First Novel Award and a Somerset Maugham Award.
